Dean Stockwell

BIOGRAFÍA DE DEAN STOCKWELL

Robert Dean Stockwell (North Hollywood, California, 5 de marzo de 1936) es un actor de cine y television estadounidense.

Biografia:

Hijo de los actores Harry Stockwell y Nina Olivette, y hermano del tambien desaparecido actor Guy Stockwell.

En cine, ha actuado en Sandino, The Manchurian Candidate y The Dunwich Horror.

Su carrera en television ha sido mucho mas prolifica, actuando en muchas series tanto como invitado ocasional como parte del reparto habitual. Como ser Stargate SG-1, en el papel de un cientifico del planeta Kelownan y mentor de Jonas Queen (Corin nemec) y Battlestar Galactica como una especie de psicologo y sacerdote.

Logros y reconocimientos:
En 1959 en el Festival de Cannes gano el premio al Mejor Actor por Compulsion.
En 1962 en el Festival de Cannes gano el premio al Mejor Actor por Larga jornada hacia la noche.
En 1989 estuvo nominado al Óscar como Mejor actor de reparto por Married to the mob.
En 1989 gano el Golden Globe como Mejor actor de reparto por su participacion en la serie Viajeros en el tiempo.
